Switching on the appliance
IMPORTANT:Before use, perform a
cooking cycle without food at a temperature
between 150-160°C.
Turn on the appliance's automatic switch-dis-

connector to connect it to the electrical
mains.
Turn the knob (A) clockwise (pos.1) to the

temperature required to turn on the heating
elements.
– The mains light (C) goes on.
– The temperature indicator light (D) goes on.
The temperature indicator light (D) goes on to
indicate that the oil is not at operating tem-
perature. The light goes off when the tempera-
ture has been reached.
Turning off the appliance
Turn the knob (A) anti-clockwise (pos. 2) to

turn off the heating elements.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains

power supply using the automatic switch-dis-
connector.
IMPORTANT: Before proceeding, al-
low the appliance to cool for 10 to 15 min.,
so that the oil reaches a temperature be-
tween 50 and 120.
Place the container (B) and the fi lter (C) un-

der the drain tap (A) (both the container and
fi lter are supplied upon request).
Open the drain tap (A) to empty the well.

Close the drain tap (A) once the operation is

complete.
ATTENTION: Do not dump oil in the
environment; dispose of it in accordance
with the laws in force in the country of use.
