8.5. Adjusting the tension of the knives
8.5.1. Required tools
• Wrench 17 mm
• Hex key 10 mm
• Slotted screwdriver
8.5.2. Instructions
1. Turn off the machine by removing the plug from the wall socket.

2. Turn the two bolts of the top shaft, at the left and right ends of the frame, three turns
anticlockwise to loosen the top shaft. See figure 19.
3. If necessary, turn the knife bolts anticlockwise or clockwise to adjust the tension of the knives.
4. Once the desired knife tension has been reached, retighten the two bolts of the top shaft.
5. Insert the plug into the wall socket.
8.6. Spare parts
Order spare parts from your dealer or the Daub service department.
Have a qualified service technician install the spare parts. Otherwise, contact your dealer or the
Daub service department.
