3.3 Adjusting / Locking the tow-bar

3.3.1 Adjusting the tow-bar
In order to set the tow-bar to the best working height, the tow-bar
can be adjusted to any position by turning the adjustment
screw (1).
The tow-bar can be hinged back as far as the stop in order to al-
low the machine can be driven backwarts up to an upstacle.
3.3.2 Locking the tow-bar
The handle can be fixed in an upright position by sliding the lo-
cking bolt (2) into the hole in the handle. This makes it easier to
handle the machine when loading it.

Reverse safeguard
The operator is prevented from being crushed when the machine
is being driven in reverse by means of the reverse safeguard. If
pressure is applied to the knob (1), the drive lever (2) is switched
to forward drive. The machine will be drive forwards slightly and
then stop.

The drive lever controls the direction of travel and steplessly ad-
justs the speed of travel.
