3.5 Operation engine
3.5.1 Starting the engine

• Set the speed control (1) to full throttle.

• Insert the starter key (2) and turn to «I»; battery charge indica-
tor (3) and oil pressure indicator (4) light up.
• Turn starter key to «II»; when the engine starts, release the
starter key. Indicator lamp (5) lights to show that the motor is
operating.
The motor is fitted with an oil deficiency cut-out
device. If the engine oil level is too low, the engine
cuts out automatically. The oil level must be cor-

rected before the engine can be restarted.
The starter key must automatically spring back to
«I» and remain in this position during the operati-
on.
The battery charge and oil pressure indicators
must extinguish directly after starting the engine.
The starter key must be returned to the «0» positi-
on to enable the engine to be restarted.
• Allow the engine to idle «I» for 2-3 minutes to warm up.

3.5.2 Switching off the engine
• Set the throttle lever (1) to «I».
• Turn the starter key (2) to «0»; the engine switches off.
• Remove the starter key.
At the end of work or interruptions, the starter key
must be stored in safe place to prevent unauthori-
sed use.
