3.9 Connecting the fi lter oil drainage
The oil residues generated by the fi lter are conveyed through a rilsan
hose (
8mm), out of the dryer in the point indicated in para. 8.6.

The drainage hose is fi tted with an end coupling so that additional exten-
sions can be fi tted by the user.
Important : Air inlet fi lter
The fi lter is supplied loose, installation at customer care.

Commissioning
4.1 Preliminary checks
Before starting the dryer, make sure:
• installation was carried out according that given in the section 8.2;
• the air inlet valves are closed and that there is no air fl ow through
the dryer;
• the power supply is correct.
4.2 Starting
Before starting the dryer follow the following instruction:
• Switch the power on by turning the MAIN SWITCH (QS)
ON".
• the crankcase heater will now start heating

THE CRANKCASE HEATER MUST BE SWITCHED ON 12
HOURS BEFORE STARTING THE DRYER.
a) Touch for few seconds
to start, the button changes color
from gray to green at the top right,
b) Start the dryer before the air compressor;
Failure to comply with this rule may cause serious damage to the
compressor.

Fans (Ac version): if connected with the wrong phase sequence
they turn in the opposite direction, with the risk of being damaged (in
this case the air exits the dryer cabinet from the condenser grilles instead
from the fan grille - see par. 8.8 for correct air fl ow); immediately invert
two phases.
c) Wait 5 minutes, then slowly open the air inlet valve;
d) slowly open the air outlet valve: the dryer is now drying.
4.3 Operation
a) Leave the dryer on during the entire period the air compressor is
working;
b) The dryer operates in automatic mode, therefore fi eld settings are
not required;
c) In the event of unforeseen excess air fl ows, by-pass to avoid over-
loading the dryer.
d) Avoid air inlet temperature fl uctuations.

4.4 Stop
a) Stop the dryer 2 minutes after the air compressor stops or in any
case after interruption of the air fl ow;
b) make sure compressed air does not enter the dryer when the dryer is
disconnected or if an alarm occurs.
c) Touch for few seconds
