The firmware update from version 4.xx must be ac-
tivated individually for the master ECU and the
slave ECU.
If the following sequence is adhered to,
both firmware updates can be activated
one after the other so that both ECUs are
updated at the same time.
Firmware update when accessing the web
interface via USB
1. Initiate the firmware update of the master ECU.
2. Initiate the firmware update of the slave ECU.
Firmware update when accessing the web
interface via Ethernet / network
1. Initiate the firmware update of the slave ECU.
2. Initiate the firmware update of the master ECU.
8.3.2 Execute firmware updates for all products
in the network in parallel
Requirement(s):
ü The connection to the ECU is established via a
network.

u Open the web interface of each networked ECU
in a separate tab of the web browser by enter-
ing the respective IP address.
u In each tab, navigate to the "System" menu and
execute the firmware update.
8.3.3 Activate new web interface
As of firmware version 5.12.3, the display of the
web interface has been adapted. When updating
the firmware from the old web interface (firmware
version lower than 5.12.3) to the new web interface
(firmware version 5.12.3 or higher), the new web in-
terface must be activated manually.
u Navigate to the "Operator" menu.
u Set the "Web Interface" parameter to "2.0".
u Click the "Save & Restart" button to activate the
new web interface.
