Do not touch the harvesting head and moving parts or carry out maintenance when the motor is running.
Do not use petrol, thinners or any aggressive and/or flammable products to clean the tool
Do not tamper with the tool's guards or command, control and safety devices.
Do not carry out cleaning and/or maintenance operations with moving parts
Conditions and requirements for use:
Before starting the tool, check that the harvesting head is not touching any foreign bodies.
Get into a stable and safe working position, which guarantees perfect balance (for example a flat and dry surface).
Use the tool, accessories, etc. in compliance with these instructions and considering the working conditions and
operations to be performed.
Always check before each use that the safety and command and control systems are in perfect working order.
Hold the tool handles (both handle and pole handle) firmly with both hands.
Pay particular attention to the handles, which must always be dry, clean and free of oil residues, using the PPE
provided.
Be extremely cautious when harvesting, as the harvested product could be thrown towards the operator (always
use PPE to protect the face) or throw the operator off balance.
Pay attention to any kickback and recoil movements. They may cause the operator to lose their balance or control
of the tool.
Remove any adjusting key before turning on the tool
Please note that it is forbidden to use the tool in potentially explosive environments, sparks can cause fires or ex-
plosions.
Prevent any unintentional switch-on. When handling or carrying the tool, make sure that the switch at OFF position
before connecting it to the batteries.

Pre-post work warnings
Do not carry the tool by the power cable.
When the tool is not in use, turn off the ON/OFF switch to avoid unnecessary battery consumption and/or compo-
nent deterioration.
Carry the tool holding it with the harvesting head backwards and with the power cable unplugged from the con-
nector.
Before connecting the power cable, make sure that the connector has clean contacts (no dirt or other obstructive
material), that they are dry and free of oxidation.
Disconnect the connector from the battery pack before carrying out any adjustments or routine and extraordinary
maintenance.
For maintenance, follow the manufacturer's instructions as given in this manual.
Only use the tool with the accessories specified by the Manufacturer.
Before any routine maintenance operations, read this manual carefully. For maintenance activities that are not indi-
cated in the manual, please contact the manufacturer's C.A.T.
Maintain all labels and pictograms on the tool in a perfectly legible and undamaged condition, with particular refer-
ence to those relating to danger and safety signs.
Maintenance warnings
CAUTION!
Before carrying out any maintenance or mechanical adjustment of the tool, it is imperative to wear PPE such
as safety shoes, overalls, puncture-proof gloves and goggles to protect the face.
Any repair or maintenance work may be carried out by duly authorised personnel who have the required
professional profile (mechanical maintenance technician and/or electrical maintenance technician) as well as the
necessary physical and intellectual requirements.
It is a mandatory requirement to disconnect the tool from the power source before any adjustment and/or mainte-
nance work.
During operation, maintenance and/or repair work, unauthorised persons must keep a distance of at least 5 metres
from the operating range of the tool.
Only qualified maintenance personnel may remove the safety devices (if any) when extraordinary
maintenance is to be performed. It is their responsibility to safeguard all personnel and the tool. The safety devices
should be re-activated as soon as maintenance work has been completed and always before new use.
All the maintenance operations which are not described in this manual have to be performed by the manufacturer's
C.A.T.
