Start-up warnings
CAUTION!
•
Never work on trees or ladders, since it is extremely dangerous.
•
Before starting work with the tool, wear protective clothes. Check that all the safety and protective de-
vices are functional and correctly assembled.
•
Check that the extension pole (5), harvesting head (11) and handle (1) are fitted.
•
Check that all the tightening screws are locked correctly.
•
After the first 8 hours of work, check the tightness of the screws on the shells.
4.1.3
Starting the tool
•
Connect the clamps (17) of the power cable (16) to the battery respecting the poles.
•
Switch the tool on by pressing the ON-OFF switch (2) to the ON position.
•
Hold the tool firmly with both hands: one hand on the handle (1) and the other on the pole (5).
CAUTION!
•
The moment the power switch is pressed, the tool starts running immediately. Be sure to position the tool
away from people or property. Failure to comply with the warning is potentially dangerous for operator
safety.
