CAUTION!
All maintenance work must be carried out with the power cable disconnected from the battery.
6.1.1 General information
Routine maintenance operations may be carried out by the operators or maintenance technicians.
Prior to any routine maintenance activity, it is mandatory to:
•
Switch off the ON/OFF switch (5).
•
Disconnect the power cable (13).
•
Place the battery in a safe position.
•
Wear heavy-duty protective gloves.
6.1.2 Replacement of prongs
To replace the prongs (12) proceed as follows:
•
Place the prong support (13) on a vice and hit the tip of the prong (12) with a hammer until it slides out of its seat
•
Insert the new prong into place, taking care to butt the plastic tooth against the wall of the prong
6.1.3 Fuse Replacement
In the event of malfunctions in the machine's operation; the
tool's emergency stop (fuse) is tripped when the 15 A motor
current is exceeded.
Before replacing the fuse (3), carry out the following steps:
•
Turn the ON-OFF switch (2) to the OFF position.
•
Disconnect the power cable (16) from the tool.
