CALIBRATION OF THE AMPEROMETRIC CHLORINE PROBE
Attention, it will be necessary to do a comparative free chlorine test (for example a DPD1 photometric test)
ZERO CALIBRATION is executed at factory and then go directly to gain calibration.
V-MS is been projected so that the electrical zero probe calibration is equal to electrochemical zero calibration.
So if it's really necessary to calibrate the zero of the probe, read the following instructions:
Switch off V-MS and open the connection box.
Disconnect the chlorine probe input connection from the chlorine board (refer to the next figure).
Switch on V-MS and wait until the display reaches a stable reading (any value).
Keep pressing Enter button for 3 seconds to
enter in the main Menu. Move the cursor to
Calibration and press Enter
Move the cursor to Calibration CL and press
Enter.
Move the cursor to Offset and press Enter.
Edit (using
buttons) the ppm reading
value of 0.00ppm and press Enter.
