Safety
− Do not insert foreign objects into openings.
− Do not crush the pressure cuff.
− Do not subject the blood pressure mon-
itor to strong magnetic fields (e.g. trans-
formers). Otherwise this could cause
errors in readings or damage to the
blood pressure monitor.
− Do not use the blood pressure mon-
itor within 4.92 feet (1.5 meters) of a
shortwave or microwave appliance or a
high-frequency electrosurgical device
as this poses a risk of irritation to the
skin.
− Do not use the blood pressure monitor
in the mountains at altitudes of over
9,843 feet (3,000 meters).
− Please note that portable and mobile
HF (high-frequency) communication
equipment (e.g. mobile phones) could
interfere with medical electrical devices.
− Medical electrical devices are subject to
special precautionary measures with
respect to the EMC (electromagnetic
compatibility). Please therefore comply
