Oven Vent
Your oven is vented

file rear of the range. Do
not block this vent when cooking
in the
oven--it
is important
that the flow of hot
air flom the oven and flesh air m the
oven burner
be uninmrrupmd.
Avoid
touching the vent openings or nearby
surfaces during oven or broiler operation--
they may become hot.

become hotif left toocloseto thevent
Donot leaveplasticitemson thecooktop_
theymaymelt if left toocloseto thevent
Donot leaveanyitemson theco&top. Thehot
air fromtheventmayigniteflammable items

Power Outage
CAUTION: D onotmakeanyattemptto operate
theelectricignitionovenduringan electrical
powerfailure.
The oven or broiler
c_mnot be lit during
a
power failure.
Gas will not flow unless the
glow bar is hot.
If file oven is in use when a power
failure occm5, file oven burner struts
off"and cannot be reqit until power is
restored. This is because the flow of gas IS
automatically stopped and will not resume
when power is restored until the glow bar
has reached operating mmperature.
