Operation
CAUTION
Risk of burns, risk of crushing!
Hazardous areas are exposed by removing the panels.
Only use the vehicle with the panels fully attached.
WARNING
Health risk
Prolonged use of the device can lead to vibration-induced circu-
latory disorders in the hands; a generally applicable duration of
use cannot be specified because it depends on several influenc-
ing factors:
Personal tendency to suffer from poor circulation (frequently cold
fingers, tingling sensation in the fingers).
Low ambient temperature.
Firm grip.
Duration of operation.
If you repeatedly experience cold fingers or a tingling sensation
in your fingers during or after using the vehicle, we recommend
that you seek medical advice.
Personal protective gear
The specified protective gear must be worn by the operator when
operating the machine.

The control elements for the driving mode and the procedure for
driving are explained below.
The accelerator pedal controls the speed of the vehicle. When
the accelerator pedal is released, the vehicle coasts slowly.
The parking brake acts on the rear wheels and is operated by a
sheathed cable. If the braking power decreases, it can be read-
justed on the lever with an adjustment screw. Exchanging the
brake shoes may only be done by Customer Service.
ATTENTION
Occasionally check the braking effect of the parking brake; the
braking effect is OK if the vehicle can be stopped on an incline of
12%.
The brake pedal must be pressed for a braking effect greater than
that of coasting.
The brake pedal activates the braking system for the rear wheels.
The brakes are automatically adjusted correctly. No adjustment
work is necessary. To ensure the necessary brake pressure at all
times, the filling level of the brake fluid reservoir must be checked
regularly.
● Be sure to move the driving direction lever to the "N" (neutral)
position before switching on the vehicle, otherwise the driving
function will be blocked.
● The flashing beacon is automatically activated when the de-
vice is switched on.
● Before switching on, sit on the driver's seat to activate the seat
contact switch.
1. Switch the device on with the key-operated switch.
2. Release the parking brake.
3. Operate the travel direction lever.
4. Slowly press the accelerator pedal.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage!
Using the wrong brushes and using them continuously in one
place can damage the floor covering.
The brush used must be suitable for cleaning the floor.
Switch off the brush drive as soon as the vehicle is stopped.
Note
Adjust the travel speed to the circumstances in order to achieve
optimum cleaning results. Wet cleaning is very easy. The roller
brush and side scrubbing deck must be used for this cleaning
task (no side brush deck or roller brush). There are 2 types of wet
cleaning.
● Maintenance cleaning
● Basic cleaning
Maintenance cleaning
Maintenance cleaning is used for daily cleaning.
For this, cleaning is performed in a single procedure with the
cleaning brush, lowered suction bar and sweeping blower
switched on. This type of cleaning leaves a dry floor that can be
walked on afterwards.
Basic cleaning
Basic cleaning consists of two work steps and is used for heavily
contaminated surfaces or stubborn dirt deposits.
● In the first procedure, the contamination is dissolved by the
counter-rotating cleaning brushes with cleaning solution add-
ed. As the suction function is switched off, the cleaning solu-
tion remains on the floor and works its way into the dirt.
● The second work step consists of maintenance cleaning.
