Manually tighten the locking nut. This is particularly important in the case of applications where the
3
sensor head is attached to a robot so as to ensure that the locking screw does not come loose.

NOTICE
Electrical corrosion when using mixed materials in the cooling circuit
Electrical corrosion can occur if mixed materials are used in the cooling circuit (e.g. aluminum + copper
+ water).
► Note the recommendations on coolant purity.
 5 Technical data on page EN-11
Apply a quick coupling to the compressed air inlet
1
hose.
Insert a polyethylene hose with a 6 mm diameter until
2
it clicks into place in the connector.
Press in to release the ring on the top of the
3
compressed air connector and pull out the hose.
The device is cooled via the crossjet. If this cooling does
not suffice to maintain a constant and safe operating
temperature, the device can be additionally water-cooled
or air-cooled via the quick-release plate/cooling element.
The two coolant connectors on the quick-release
plate/cooling element are connected by a U-shaped
sealed channel, which runs the entire length of the
quick-release plate/cooling element. A flow rate of
2 l/min is required to liquid-cool the sensor.
► Connect coolant hoses with a diameter of 6 mm to
the coolant connectors.
