Risk of irreparable eye damage due to laser radiation
Direct or indirect laser radiation to the eyes can cause them irreparable damage.
► Switch off the device on the higher-level system prior to maintenance and cleaning work.
► Ensure the device cannot be switched back on again on the higher-level system.
Risk of death from electric shock
Touching live parts can cause serious injuries or even death.
► Switch off all power to the higher-level system prior to beginning installation.
► Ensure the system cannot be switched on again.
Risk of burns due to hot surfaces
The device and the plugs can get extremely hot during operation.
► Allow the device and the plugs to cool prior to maintenance and cleaning work.
NOTICE
Destruction of parts due to faulty components
If device components are faulty or design modifications have been made, the transmission of laser beams
can cause parts to heat up excessively. Parts can be destroyed and laser beams can be uncontrollably
emitted.
► Regularly conduct automatic performance measurements.
► Do not make any structural modifications to the device.
The device is designed for low-maintenance operation. However, to ensure good performance, regular
preventive maintenance work is still required. The maintenance and inspection intervals depend on the
machining process and must be adapted to the process conditions. The list below indicates the
recommended intervals. The activities listed in this section must solely be performed by qualified specialists.

CAUTION
► Use clean compressed air to blast all dust particles off the device
exterior.
► Check if the replaceable protective window is damaged or dirty, and
replace it if necessary.
► Use a cloth to clean the device exterior and remove dust or spatter.
When using compressed air:
► Check if the camera's pressurization system is working properly by
holding a hand under the sensor. If the pressurization system is working
properly, air is noticeably expelled from the camera's mounting slot.
► Check that all cables and connections are properly connected and not
damaged.
► Replace cables if the wires are kinked or frayed.
► Backflush the coolant circuit to clean it.
