3.5 Calibration
A calibration is performed similarly to the sample analysis described
before in chapter 3.4 using the Alivion Methanol Standard 1 and 2
WITHOUT/WITH ETHANOL.
A measurement is always evaluated with the most recent saved
•
calibration.
Regular calibration is essential to ensure maximum accuracy.
•
If a new calibration should be performed, the warning
•
is displayed on the home screen (see chapter 3.7 for details).
To perform a calibration, select Calibrate from the main menu followed
by the calibration mode:
Calibration without ethanol
•
•
Gives the maximum measurement accuracy when
measuring samples that do not contain ethanol.
Calibration with ethanol
•
•
Gives the maximum measurement accuracy when
measuring samples that contain ethanol.
NOTICE
Alivion recommends performing a calibration in the
beginning of each measurement day to achieve
maximum accuracy.
