1.4 Attention signs
The following warning signs are used in this document to identify and
emphasize related warning texts that require special attention by the
user. The meanings of the warning signs are defined as follows:
WARNING
Indication of a potentially dangerous situation. If this is
not avoided, injuries or damage to the product or the
environment can occur. Can also be used as a warning
against improper use.
NOTICE
Additional information on the use of the product.
1.5 Liability
The liability for the proper function of the device is irrevocably
transferred to the owner or operator to the extent that the device is
improperly serviced or repaired by personnel not employed or
authorized by Alivion or if the instrument is used in a manner not
conforming to its intended use.
Alivion cannot be held responsible for damage caused by non-
compliance with the recommendations given above.
The warranty and liability provisions of the Alivion's General Terms and
Conditions of Sale are likewise not modified by the recommendations
given above.
