INTENDED USE
INTENDED USE WITH POLE HEDGE TRIMMER
The appliance is intended for cutting and trimming of hedges, bushes and ornamental shrubs in the domestic
environment. This is a hand-held appliance with an integrated motor unit with linear reciprocating cutting
blades.
INTENDED USE WITH POLE PRUNER
This appliance is intended for trimming branches in trees. It is not designed for extensive sawing work, felling
trees or cutting of materials such as masonry, plastics or foods.
INTENDED USE WITH TRIMMER AND 3-TOOTH BLADE
The trimmer and 3-tooth blade attachment is intended for cutting grass in the private garden, along flower
beds, around trees or fence posts, and light undergrowth.
This appliance is not suitable for commercial use. Any other use that is not explicitly approved in these
instructions may result in damage to the equipment and represent a serious danger to the user.
The product is designed for use by adults. Do not use it in the appliance in the rain. Adolescents over the age
of 16 may use the device only under supervision. The operator or user is responsible for accidents or damage
to other people or their property. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by unspecified use or
incorrect operation.
BEFORE USE
UNPACKING
4) Unpack all parts and lay them on a flat stable surface.
5) Make sure the delivery contents are complete and free of damage. If you find that parts are missing or
show damage, do not use the product but contact your dealer. Do not use the product unless missing
parts have been delivered in addition or defective parts have been replaced. Using an incomplete or
damaged product represents a hazard to people and property.
6) Ensure that you have all the accessories and tools needed for assembly and operation.

CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK
Note
 The battery can be damaged in case of improper charging.
 Remove the charger's mains plug before inserting or removing the battery.
The battery is partially charged upon delivery to avoid damage to the battery caused by a deep discharge.
Prior to initial start-up and when the battery is low, the battery should be charged. To do so, please
proceed as follows (Fig.B):
6) Slide the battery pack (24) onto the charger (25) upside down till it locks in place.
7) Insert the mains plug of the charger (25) into a properly fused mains socket. The RED charge control
LED (29) is illuminated; and charging requires approx. 60min.
8) Wait until the RED charge control LED (29) goes out and green charge control LED (30) is illuminated,
the battery is fully charged
9) Hold onto the mains plug while pulling the power cable of the charger out of the mains socket. The
