OPERATION
WARNING!
 Wear suitable clothing and work gloves when working with the tool.
 Wear eye and ear and head protection.
 Ensure that the tool is functional before each use.
 The on/off switch must not be held closed. They must switch off the motor when switches are
released.
 Should a switch be damaged, stop working with the tool.
 Reduce the risk of injuries and accidents by wearing personal protection equipment.
WARNING! Ensure that you are standing in a firm position with both hands gripping the appliance
away from the body. Ensure that theappliance is in contact with no other objects before switching on.
SWITCHING ON AND OFF
Switch ON
 Check that the battery pack (24) is in the position.
 Press the safety switch, Lock-off button (31).
 Press the On/Off switch (32) on the handle (34).
Switch off
 Release On/Off switch (32).
SPEED ADJUSTMENT
There are three adjustable speeds available shown below.
Press the speed adjustor (33) to select the desired speed level.
WORKING WITH THE POLE HEDGE TRIMMER
WARNING! During cutting work, ensure that no contact is made with objects, e.g. such as wire
fencing or main plant stem. This may result in damage to the safety cutter bar.
 If the blades become jammed with solid objects, turn the device off immediately and remove the
rechargeable battery. Only then should you remove the object.
 Avoid overstraining the tool during work.
 Always hold the device tightly with both hands.
WORKING WITH THE POLE PRUNER
WARNING! If the saw chain gets stuck, do not attempt to pull out the pruner with force. There is a
risk of injury. Turn the motor off and use a lever arm to wedge to release the pruner.
 The saw chain should have reached it maximum speed before you begain sawing.
 You will have better control over the device if you saw using the lower edge of the guide bar and not
using the upper edge of the guide bar.
 The saw chain must not touch the ground or any object while sawing through the material or
thereafter.
 Ensure that the saw chain does not get stuck while sawing. The log must not break or splinter.
