PROGRAM 9 – CARDIO TARGET – User defined
If P9 is selected, the AGE / LOAD window (WINDOW 5) displays "30" years and the
HEART RATE window (WINDOW 4) displays P9. The other windows remain off.Press ▲

select the next parameter.The TIME window (WINDOW 2) displays "10:00" minutes and
the HEART RATE (WINDOW 4) displays P9. The other windows remain off. Press
(KEYS 8 and 9) to set the desired time. Press START / ENTER (KEY 10) to save the desired
time and select the next parameter.The HEART RATE window (WINDOW 4) displays a
maximum heart rate of "85" %. The other windows remain off. Press
(BUTTONS 8 and 9) to set the max heart rate. Press START / ENTER (KEY 10) to save the
desired maximum frequency and start the program.The load will automatically adjust to
keep your heart rate between HR MAX–10bpm (MAX HR–10bpm) ~ and your
maximum heart rate (MAX HR).The user can manually adjust the load by pressing the
LOAD + / - buttons (BUTTONS 15 and 16).
PROGRAM 10 - BREAK 10/20
The 20/10 INTERVAL program provides the user with a series of eight (8) high intensity
exercise intervals with predefined time segments.This training protocol is commonly
known as Tabata® or (High Intensity Interval Training "H.I.I.T.").Number of Intervals:
8Work break duration: 20 secondsRest interval duration: 10 secondsSelect Program P10
and press START/ENTER (KEY 10) to start the program.A countdown (3 seconds) signals
the start of the program.During the "GO" period, the user performs the exercise at the
maximum speed that this user can bear.The program will beep to the user at the
beginning of each rest interval. In the "REST" period, the user rests. Load adjustment is
automatic. The user can manually adjust the load by pressing the LOAD + / - buttons
(BUTTONS 15 and 16) at any time.The program will run until the end of the last rest
interval. To end the program at any time, press the STOP / RESET key.
