The correct operating temperature and pres-
sure should be +/- 94°C or 201,2°F, with a
service boiler pressure of +/- 1 bar.

a cup of hot water from the unit (first-time use
only). Stop the flow of hot water by releasing
the button.
Open the steam left handle (4 - fig._2.3) for
some seconds and then close it. Hot steam is
dispensed from the steam wand.
Repeat the operation with the right steam knob
(5 - fig._2.3). Hot steam is dispensed from the
steam nozzle.
Caution!
This operation avoids milk re-
suction into the boiler. Wait till
the working pressure has been
reached again.
Your machine is now ready to work.

5.2 Factory settings of your
machine
Prior to delivery your Boxer espresso machine
has been tested. The factory settings mean
that your machine is set and ready for use.
5.3 Coffee dose programming
These programs only concern the coffee
doses.
They must be carried out by using the left
pushbutton panel (in the case of the 2 or 3 unit
machine). The doses programmed here are
automatically "repeated" on the other units,
eliminating the need to program these as well.
However, it is possible to program this unit
separately by following the instructions pro-
vided below.
Note: It is recommended to carry out all pro-
gramming in actual working conditions, that is,
brewing coffee according to the instructions
to prepare it.
Proceed as follows:
■ Hold the key
starts flashing.
■ Release the key and press the one to be
programmed (e.g.
coffee dispensing.
■ When the desired quantity of coffee is
reached, press the same key
to stop dispensing.
■ The dispensing time is shown on the dis-
play.
This operation is used to program the key,
i.e. the water dispensing time will be stored.
■ Press the next key to be programmed (e.g.
and repeat the above operations.
■ Once the programming operations are
complete, switch the machine off and on
again after 5 seconds.
