Fault Description
The internal electronic motor
protection has been
triggered due to overloading
of the connected motor.
The maximum DC Bus
Voltage has been exceeded
due to regenerative energy
from motor.
The EEPROM has invalid
data.
The DC Bus voltage fell
below the minimum rated
voltage.
There is a malfunction or
abnormality of the CPU.
External fault 12 {EXT}
indication has been received
at one of the digital inputs
(C01-C05).
A digital input (C01-C05)
was set to 13 {USP} and
power was restored while a
run input was active.
There is a ground fault at the
motor output terminals.
The input voltage is higher
than permitted.
Excessive heat has been
detected inside the drive.
There is a malfunction or
abnormality of the CPU.
The resistance from the
external thermistor was too
large. (Greater than 3 kΩ)
A loss of communication has
occurred.
Corrective Action
Check the entry under b12 [
]. Reduce A42 [
CURRENT
]. Check the motor and drive rating.
VOLTAGE
Motor regeneration has caused a bus
overvoltage. Extend the decel time.
Reset EEPROM by resetting the defaults
using b84 [
RESET FUNCTIONS
Monitor the incoming AC line for low voltage
or line power interruptions.
Check external wiring for a possible cause. If
problems persists, have drive serviced by
authorized Reliance Electric service
personnel.
Remove the cause of the fault in the external
wiring and clear the fault.
Check incoming line voltage for low voltage
or line power interruptions. Remove the run
command before power-up.
Check for a ground fault at the output
terminals.
Check the incoming AC line.
Clear blocked or dirty heat sink fins. Check
ambient temperature. Check for proper
clearance distances. On models with a fan,
check for fan operation. Check for excessive
motor load.
Check external wiring for a possible cause. If
problems persists, have drive serviced by
authorized Reliance Electric service
personnel.
Check for an overload condition at the motor,
or check for proper ventilation at the motor.
Check communication connections.
