STORAGE, AND RETURN

Storage: Disconnect any connections to the X-zone 5x00. Please observe the manufacturer's instruc-
tions for X-zone 5x00. Turn off X-zone Com and store it connected to the charger outside of the ex-
protection zone indoors. If stored disconnected from the charger for more than 6 months, you will have
to recharge the internal battery for at least 48 hours prior to use.
Return: Prior to returning the device to ORI Abwassertechnik GmbH & Co. KG, e.g. for repair, etc.,
proceed as follows:

Make sure the device is clean. This is particularly important if hazardous substances,
such as combustible, poisonous, corrosive or carcinogenic agents might be present.
We will charge the operator for any costs incurred as a result of insufficient cleaning of the device, in-
cluding those for the disposal of hazardous waste or for personal injury (burns, etc.).

DISPOSAL

Packaging: Keep the packaging of the device in case you have to return it at a later date. If this is not
desired, the wood, cardboard and PE packaging material can be disposed of through the usual chan-
nels.
X-zone Com: Do not dispose of this device as municipal solid waste (in accordance with Directive
2002/96/EG). Please consider and observe environmental compatibility, health risks, and local dis-
posal regulations. Clean and disinfect the device and dispose of it at the appropriate collection point.
Further information may be obtained from the competent authority. If you send your old X-zone Com to
us carriage-free, we will dispose of it at no charge, if requested. Please refer to the Return section in
the previous paragraph.
Rechargeable battery: Do not dispose of X-zone's rechargeable battery with municipal
solid waste (in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EG). Dispose of the battery in
compliance with statutory provisions at the local battery collection points.
