The information contained in this Operating Manual applies only to the device type specified on the
cover.
X-zone Com has its own internal rechargeable battery for operation in the ATEX zones (in accordance
with Directive 94/9/EG). The control panels operate by means of the magnetic pen that comes with the
product. The device has an integrated GSM/GPRS modem for the transmitting of alarms, status mes-
sages, and data. Data transmitted by X-zone 5x00 are stored in an internal data memory with a capac-
ity of approximately 262,000 sets of data. The data storage is designed as a circular buffer which
overwrites the oldest sets of data first.
