5.8 Automatic Oven cleaning
CONVOClean system
n The CONVOClean system is delivered ready to use.
Only the suction hose has to be attached. The automatic
cleaning system has two separate connections, one for
the cleaning solution „Convoclean forte" (lower
connection) and one for the jet spray solution
„Convocare" (upper connection).
n Only Convoclean forte as cleaning solution and
Convocare in it's user-ready mixture as jet spray solution
are allowed to be used.
n Prerequirement for the functioning of the automatic
oven cleaning is a soft water connection. See Chapter
3.1.

n Jet spray solution Convocare:
The supplied Convocare Concentrate must be mixed in
the clean, empty 10 lit. canister (Convocare empty
canister) with soft water. Observe mixing instructions!
n Connecting the suction hoses:

Unscrew the plastic union nut from both bulkhead
connections on the rear side of the pump casing (Back side of
unit) and place them on the suction hoses.

Place the red suction hose for Convoclean forte on the
nipple of the lower bulkhead connection.
– Place the clear suction hose for Convocare on the upper
bulkhead connection.
– Secure both hoses with the union nuts (tighten by hand).
– Slide each of the hoses into the correct canister (red in
Convolean, clear in Convocare) and tighten canister top.
– The air opening in the canister tops must be free.
– Make sure there are no kinks or creases in the hoses.
n Setting up the cleaning solution canister:
–
The canister should be situated in an easily accessible place
on a flat surface next to the unit à Check that it is full.
– The canister cannot be placed higher than the level that the
unit is on.
– The level on which the canister is standing, cannot be more
than 1meter under where the hose connections are.
n Waste water connection:
The unit has to be connected to an open drainage
(siphon with funnel with at least Ø 32mm)! DN 32 pipe,
without kinks and with a constant descending slope of at
least 5% (3°). See chapter 3.2. Unit with automatic oven
cleaning must not be connected to a closed siphon.
