7.7 INVERTER FREQUENCY MODULATION

The output signal from the USER INTERFACE controlling the inverter fre-
quency, is based on the error between:
- temperature of the requested water from the heat pump (parameter 231):
• in air conditioning, it is calculated according to the active climatic curve
• in DHW production, it is set through parameter 128.
- temperature of the delivery water from the heat pump (parameter 109).
Note:
The output signal from the USER INTERFACE parameter 235 represents
the requested inverter frequency; the power supply frequency of the com-
pressor is further controlled by the TERMINAL BLOCK of the heat pump,
according to compressor operational limits. The value of instantaneous
frequency can be read on the display 2 digits on the card PCB principal.

7.8 OUTDOOR AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

To correctly regulate the outlet water flowing temperature to the heat
pump, it is important for the external air temperature to have a significant
value and not be influenced by an incorrect positioning of the sensor.
The heat pump has an "External temperature" sensor found on the oppo-
site side of the fan, near the finned heat exchanger.
If this position is not significant, another remote probe can be connected to
the unit; this variation requires the following operations:
- purchase the "KEAP" accessory (external air remote probe)
- disconnect connector "Air. Ext. S." and connect the KEAP in clamps 1
and 2 of the "TERMINAL BLOCK" as shown in the following figure.

7.9 STORAGE DHW HEATING

The eventual availability of DHW through connection of the HP to a speci-
fic DHW storage, is automatically managed through the USER INTERFA-
CE and a specific DHW temperature sensor located in the DHW storage.
The request for DHW can occur in the following ways:
Par 123=0 Connecting a 10kΩ temperature sensor at 25 ° C between
clamps 5-6 of the TERMINAL BLOCK. In this instance the production will
stop once the set point temperature is reached, defined by parameter 126,
and will resume when the water temperature will have a value less than
par. 126 – par. 127
Par 123=1 DHW request if between terminals 5-6 of the TERMINAL
BLOCK there is a closed contact. With this solution one should install a
thermostat, with a contact open to a satisfied set, to the aforementioned
clamps.
Par 123=2 DHW request if between terminals 5-6 of the TERMINAL
BLOCK there is an open contact. With this solution one should install a
thermostat with a contact closed to a satisfied set, to the aforementioned
clamps.
If setting of Parameter 112=ON (default value), with DHW request, a po-
wered output "3W.V.SANITARY" activates (connector H, TERMINAL
BLOCK) and Pump 1 will activate when the delay time set in parameter
130 will have lapsed.
Nota:
The demand for DHW has prio-
rity on air conditioning. To
the priority of DHW on air con
ditioning, according to a
time band, contact an authori
zed service centre. In
addition,
a thermal disinfection
system
for the storage of domestic
water (DHW) is not active.
To activate the
scheduled
thermal disinfection for
DHW
storage, contact the
approved
service centre.
For these functions also refer
to what is reported in the Ap-
pendices.
