3. PREMISE

The reversible cycle air-water heat pumps with inverter technology have
been designed for medium-small sized residential and commercial ap-
plications. This equipment, characterised by excellent energy effective
values and by exceptionally low sound levels, is able to satisfy even the
most demanding requirements with regard to operating temperature.
They foresee the use of R-410A refrigerant as well as the use of inverter
in CC rotary compressors, of extremely silent fans and of a microproces-
sor control system.
Advanced technology
• Electronic management system equipped with various sensors placed in
key positions of the cooling circuit to electronically detect the operating
state of the system. Two microregulators receive the input from these
sensors and manage them using particularly developed algorithms to
optimise the flow of the refrigerant and the operating of the more
important components, that is the compressor, the fans motors and the
impulse modulating valve.
• Impulse modulating valve, which is a two-way throttling device that op-
timises the entity and overheating of the circulating refrigerant preven-
ting the liquid returning towards the compressor. This device further
increases the already high performances and reliability of the system.
• Air circulating system, made of a propeller fan, as well as an orifice and
a delivery grill studied and realised to optimise the sound level of the
machine.
Features
• Wide operating range, in cold and in heating, studied to offer higher
performances in a wide range of temperatures.
• Rotary compressors with inverter driver to offer greater reliability, low
energy consumptions and operating without vibrations in all working
conditions.
• Variable speed fans with propellers having patented blades and cha-
racterised by an innovative profile studied to guarantee the best distri-
bution of the air and exceptionally contained sound levels.
• Water side plate brazed plate exchanger in stainless steel properly in-
sulated.
• Air side exchanger composed of coil with copper pipes and aluminium
fins.
• The frame is made of galvanized steel and painted complete with con-
densation drain pan and heating resistance working in winter condi-
tions.
• Compensation curve of the pre-set set-point or customised to guaran-
tee a stable capacity supply and equivalent to the load set by the utili-
ties, in every atmospheric condition.
• An output for the connection and integration of the equipment with any
existing outdoor heat sources allows a bivalent approach to the win- ter
load and, therefore, greater saving and comfort in every climatic
condition.
• Input and output connections for the three-way valve of an eventual hu-
midifier, ideal for radiator and panel systems, used to control humidity.
• Possibility of obtaining outlet hot water with a temperature of up to 60°C,
allowing use of this equipment in both radiator systems and for the
production, even instantaneous, of DHW.
• PUMP installation: Unit complete with pump, 3 bar safety valve, relief
valve and pressure gauge.

Respect for the environment
• R-410A Refrigerant without impact on the ozone layer
– It is a refrigerant without chlorine and belongs to the HFC family; it
has no negative effect on the ozone atmospheric layer
– Being high density it requires lower load
– Its thermodynamic features allow obtaining high energy efficiency
ratio.
This unit contains fluoride gases with greenhouse effect covered
by the Kyoto Protocol. The maintenance and disposal operations
must be performed only by qualified staff.
