Material flow pressure
not constant.
Atomising pressure too
high.
Material too thin or
insufficient.
Too much material.
Material adjusted too
thick.
Atomising pressure too
low.
Corrective action
Tighten pre-nozzle.
Replace air distribution
ring (see chapter 10.3).
Tighten air cap ring by
hand.
Clean gap.
Clean pre-nozzle and
material nozzle. Pay
attention to the groove
alignment with the
fixing pin.
Replace pre-nozzle
and material nozzle
(see chapter 10.1). Pay
attention to the groove
alignment with the
fixing pin.
Correct the material
flow pressure.
Clean the material filter
(see chapter 11) or
replace it (see chap-
ter 10.8).
