6. Bring the tape forward until it reaches the pressure wheel (see Figure B ).
7. Replace the cover weight.
8. Pull the lever forward to dispense the tape through the machine. Test to make sure
the tape is feeding and cutting properly.

To prepare the moistening system follow the steps below.
1. Remove the pressure pad from the top of the brush tank.
2. Remove the brush from the brush tank.
3. Soak the brush in warm water for approximately five minutes.
4. Replace the brush in the tank with the bristles angled away from the cutting blade
(see Figure C on page 9).
5. Remove the water bottle from its holder and fill it with water.
6. Replace the water bottle in the holder with the spout inserted into the water
regulator.
