Troubleshooting
Problems
The pump stops .
Red ALARM LED
illuminates .
The pump stops .
Orange
ALARM
LED illuminates .
FCXXX
No cannula
suction .
No handpiece
suction .
The roller pump
heads do not
rotate .
Potential Causes
The HIGH
PRESSURE safety
alert has activated .
The LOW
PRESSURE safety
has activated: "Low
Pressure" indicator
blinks .
The filter is wet
There is no more
irrigation fluid .
The system has
detected a problem
with one of the
accessories (e .g .
Shaver, Foot Pedal,
or Remote Control .
The cannula is
obstructed .
The shaver blade
is obstructed .
The Pinch Valve is
malfunctioning .
The power is off (set
to "O") or is on Stop .
Possible Solutions
Lower the joint pressure . Press the RUN/
STOP pad to restart the pump .
Verify that the intermediary luer-lock is tightly
closed . Press the RUN/STOP pad to restart
the pump
Replace the Inflow Tubing . If problem persists,
contact DePuy Synthes Customer Service .
Spike the bag and press the Fill Chamber pad .
Refer to Section 9 .4, Fault Codes .
Reposition or clean the cannula .
Disassemble the blade and clean it .
Check the positioning of the suction tubing .
Check the FMS CONNECT interface cable
connection (if installed) .
Check that the main power switch on the front
of the pump is on the "I" position, and that the
RUN/STOP pad green light is on .
Check that the pump doors are closed .
