10.4 Pressure Sensor Test

This test checks the proper functioning of the pressure sensors. The position of
the pressure sensors are depicted in Fig. 10-3.
1. Remove the pressure chamber from the pump head.
2. Press and hold down the micro switch (1) at the pump head.
3. Start pump.
4. While keeping the micro switch depressed (1), lightly touch the upper
pressure sensor (2) with your finger.
5. E01 flashes in the actual pressure display.
6. Remove finger from pressure sensor (2).
7. Turn device off and on again.
8. Repeat the test with the lower pressure sensor (3).
The test of the pressure sensors is now finished.

10.5 Test of the Weighing Unit

The user menu (chapter 5.13 Launching/Configuring the User Menu, page 28,
point P05) serves to check the weighing unit's functionality.
1. Remove load from weighing unit.
2. Select item P05 in the user menu.
3. The deficit display shows 0, the actual pressure/nominal pressure display
shows 0.00.
4. Place or hang a defined weight of 1 to 5 kilos on the weighing unit.
5. The deficit display depicts the weight of the ballast placed on the weighing
unit. If the difference is ± 0.01 kg, a service technician must recalibrate the
scale.
6. Exit the user menu.
7. Remove load from weighing unit.
The functions of the weighing unit have now been tested. Each successfully
conducted test has to be documented with the test log enclosed at the end of the
manual.
