Braking with the reversible brake:
– Press function switch (19) (t) (Multipilot 5 (o)1, (o)2 ) during travel. The vehicle
switches over to the opposite driving direction; drive current control brakes the
vehicle until travel in the opposite direction commences.
NOTICE This method of operation reduces energy consumption. Energy is recovered,
controlled by the drive current control. The energy recovered is shown on the
operator display (t) or the onboard computer (o).
Braking with the coasting brake:
– Retract the function switch (19) (t) (Multipilot 5 (o)1, (o)2 ) during travel; the drive
current control brakes the vehicle according to the position of the accelerator pedal.
Braking with the service brake:
– Release the brake switch (17).
Plugging via the drive motor brakes the vehicle. The spring tension brake engages
after a time delay.
Braking with the EMERGENCY OFF switch:
– Press the EMERGENCY OFF (13) switch.
