Switch on the cooking zone
1. Press the ON/OFF key
2. Then immediately press the Plus key
(1....9). The Minus key
setting display shows the power setting which has been selected.
3. The power setting display blinks (pan recognition). Immediately put cook-
ware suitable for induction cooking onto the cooking zone. The pot or pan
will be heated up.
Note!
• Should the cooking zone be switched on and no power setting be selected,
the cooking zone will switch off automatically.

4. Press the ON/OFF key
any of the power settings. The display will go off.
Note:
• Metal objects, e.g. kitchen utensils, cutlery, must not be left on the surface
of the induction hob as they can become hot.
• Immediately switch off the cooking zone after using with the respective ON/
OFF key
and not just by pan recognition.
Power management
For technical reasons two cooking zones always comprise a module and
have a maximum power level.
If this power range is exceeded when a higher power setting level is switched
on the power management system will reduce the power setting of the corres-
ponding cooking zone of the module.
The setting is indicated in the cooking setting display.
