4.4 No gas flows from the torch

SOLENOID VALVE TEST

Service board (6) connector J9 terminals 2(+) - 1 = + 24 VDC +/- 5% with torch

button pressed. The duration of the solenoid valve opening in DC (16) depends on
the pre-gas and post-gas time and on test conditions.
Check the wiring between the solenoid valve
(16) and the J9 services board (6);
With the solenoid valve (16) disconnected from
connector J9 of the services board (6) check the
DC resistor of the solenoid valve coil between
pin 1 and 2 of the 4-way connector of its wiring:
if infinite or zero Ohm (short circuit), replace
solenoid valve 16;
Check the presence of the gas at the inlet fitting
(C) and that the pressure and flow rate in the
intake conduit meet the specification values (see
Instruction Manual);
Make sure that the threaded part of the air fitting
(C) inserted in pressure regulator (D) is no more
than 6 - 8 mm (1/4" - 5/16") long, to avoid any
possible malfunction of the pressure regulator
(D);
Make sure that the pressure regulator (D) is
working properly; replace if defective;
Make sure there are no occlusions in the gas
hoses of the Power Supply or the flow regulator
fitted on the solenoid valve fitting.
Check the connection to connector J1 of the
control board (48);
Replace the pressure sensor (20);
Replace the services board (6) and/or control
board (48);

Make sure that the torch nozzle guard is
correctly assembled and in good working
order. If defective or showing signs of wear,
replace the entire torch grip.
Check the torch button. If defective, replace
the entire torch grip.

Correct?
With the solenoid valve (16) disconnected
from connector J9 of the services board (6),
check the DC resistor of the solenoid valve
coil between pin 1 and 2 of the 4-way
connector of its wiring: If 0 Ohm (short
circuit), replace the solenoid valve (16);
Replace the services board (6) and/or
control board (48);
