Price display bar contrast. The default value is 9 and can range from 1 to 16. Press the key 1 on the keypad
to increase the contrast and key 2 to reduce it.
Then set the display bar product description option when the door is opened; if you set parameter 1, the
previously programmed description will be displayed in correspondence with each selection when the main
door is opened (programming is done by means of the "VMC-configurator live" tool).
Then, you set the option for displaying promotional messages. The latter are text strings displayed on the bar
display in correspondence to each product in alternation with the price of the product.
To enter the 20 text strings with promotional messages into the machine, refer to command 80 under
"Machine Cloning", points 3 and 4.
If the promotional messages option is enabled, access the function that allows you to associate one of the 20
promotional messages previously stored in the machine to each selection. (Note: to delete a message from a
selection, you just associate a string of spaces to the selection. One of the 20 strings should be a text of only
spaces).
After associating the texts to the selections, you can set the display mode of the promotional messages.
There are 4 options; ON MODE (always on) OFF MODE (always off) BACKLIGHT BLINKING MODE and

TEXT BLINKING MODE; scroll through the options using any number key and confirm by pressing "B".

Similarly, you can set the display mode for displays that do not contain promotional messages.

The next required parameter is the time, in seconds, to display the promotional messages.

The last parameter is the inhibition time of the promotional messages, i.e., the length of time the product

price is displayed for.

Command 58 Mode enable confirms selection or pre-selection:
You can enable the "request selection confirmation" function: in this case, you are expected to confirm each
selection made with the "B" key before transaction and dispensing. Then, you are asked to set the time to
wait for the "confirm" button to be pressed before cancelling the selection made.
As an alternative to the previous function, you can enable the "pre-selection" function and related waiting
time. In this case, after making the selection, the machine waits for payment, for the timeout set, to make the
sale.
Command 59 Stroke counter :
If the command is set at 1, the stroke counter appears every time the door is opened.
Command 60 Erases the memory:
In response to this command the screen displays Code 0000. Enter the figure 6203 then press the ENTER
key to cancel al the data stored in the vending machine's memory. The procedure to cancel the data from the
memory is as follows:

Programming mode, ............................................................................. Command 0 appears on the display

Type 60 and press ENTER, .................................................................. Code 0000 appears on the display
•
Type 6203 and press ENTER, .................................................... 'memory cleared' appears on the display
Note: To exit from the command press the button on the VMC board once.
N.B. Before deletion, the counters for cash flow and sales per selection are saved and can be retrieved later
by returning to command 60 and entering code 7531.
Command 61 Reset security/access code:
This command makes it possible to reset the access code used in the EVA_DTS protocol.
Command 62 Enable discount:
The following discount types can be enabled depending on the value set in this parameter:
0 = no type of discount.
1 = discount for different time slots.
2 = discount for purchases with key /credit card (only possible in MDB mode).
3 = discount for time slots and for purchases with key /credit card (only possible in MDB mode).

Activation of this command cancels all the data programmed by the user and the
new default parameters determined by the manufacturer are automatically set.
