FASTER GCD – Issue 03
3 = Multistep (multiple partial rotations): if the product is not delivered, the spiral will execute a further 1/8
turn and this will be repeated 4 times if the product is not delivered; on the fifth attempt, the spiral will
complete the turn and a product delivery check will be performed, after which option 1 or 2 will be triggered
depending on whether the single or multi-sale parameter has been set.
In this case too the function must be enabled for each selection or for each drawer or for the total (see point
2).
Then the system makes it possible to set the "empty" option which, if enabled (value set at 1), blocks the
selection until the next opening of the main door, in the event of failure to deliver the product.
The system then asks you to enter the options relevant to the PHOTOCELL SAFETY:
enabling this function (parameter setting = 1) involves entering a number of products within a certain time
frame (in minutes). If within the programmed time interval a number of non-readings occurs that is equal to
the number of programmed products, the photocells are disabled. The active event is signalled on the display
when the door is opened and it is also recorded in Command 99 by Error code 39. The photocell reset can be
programmed in manual or automatic mode. If manual, parameter setting = 0, enter the TEST VEND function
to re-enable the photocells; if automatic, parameter setting = 1, after 15 minutes the system attempts to reset
the function.
N.B.: with the SPIRAL SLAVE connection enabled (see Command 49), after setting the MASTER machine,
the same parameters for the SLAVE machine can be set.
Command 80 USB Menu
Command 80 accesses a multiple-choice menu with the following items:
1. Clone machine
2. Audit on pen-drive
3. Software updating
To access the desired function, just type the corresponding number on the selection pad after you insert the
USB pen-drive in the connector provided on the main board.
Clone machine
There are four possible options
1. - Writing configuration data on the USB pen-drive
This function allows you to transfer all programming parameters to a USB pen-drive. If not already
programmed, you are asked for the "configuration code" (see note) and, once the code is entered and
confirmed, you are given two options:
B. Start writing the cloning files on USB pen-drive (whose name is shown on the display).
1. Change the configuration code.
Pressing B will begin writing the file in the pen-drive with a bar showing the progress of the procedure. Wait
until you see the message "end writing" before removing the pen-drive.
If, for example, you programmed the configuration code 00000123, the file generated on the USB pen-drive
will have the name: "FASTER_00000123.DAT". If there is a file of the same name on the USB pen-drive,
before writing the new file, it should be renamed by adding a sequential number to the name.
Note: If you want to export the complete configuration data in the pen-drive, you must perform the cloning
after entering the second programming level (extended cloning).
2. Reading data from a pen-drive - Reading configuration data from the USB pen-drive:
This function allows you to read the configuration data in a USB pen-drive. If not already programmed, you
are asked for the "configuration code" (see note) and, once the code is entered and confirmed, you are given
two options:
B. Reading a file from USB pen-drive (whose name is shown on the display).
1. Change the configuration code.
Pressing B will begin reading the file from the pen-drive with a bar showing the progress of the procedure.
Wait until you see the message "end reading" before removing the pen-drive.
If, for example, you programmed the configuration code 00000123, the file searched and read from the USB
pen-drive will have the name: "FASTER_00000123.DAT". Therefore, on the same USB pen-drive, you can
store several programming files for machines of the same model, but each configured differently and
distinguished by its "configuration code".
3. Copy promotional message strings on a USB pen-drive:
