FASTER GCD – Issue 03
This command enables operation of the microwave oven column. Value 1 = enabled; 0 = not enabled. If the
function is enabled, the system asks you to program the heating time, in seconds, for the products present on
each plate of the master machine (FASTER); value settable from 0 to 180 sec. The heating times are
calibrated for use with the maximum power output.
Command 90 Selecting the AUDIT / telemetry enabling protocol:
The control board is equipped with an RS232 socket. The I/O connector is a 9-pin male that uses the
following pins:
- Pin 2
VMC Tx
By scrolling through the menu using any key except A and B, you can select PRINTER: the machine
manages a generic serial receipt printer connected to the RS232 socket. In this case, transmission is carried
out at 9600 baud, 8 data bits, no parity and 1 stop bit. The connection cable uses pins 2, 5 and 7.
If the printer is online, when you press the button for access to programming on the outside of the coin box,
sales data is printed.
EVA-DTS DDCMP from the menu the
By selecting
infrared interface 082925 (IRDA interface) or through physical connection on the 9-pin connector, according
to the specifications of the EVA-DTS protocol, vers. 6.0.
The machine offers the choice of the type of connection: infrared interface (OUTPUT OPTICAL LINK) or a
cable on the 9-pin connector located on the board (OUTPUT RS232) in the latter case the pins of the
connector used are 2 = VMC Tx, 3 = VMC Rx, 5 = GROUND
The machine prompts you to enter the address of the peripheral: type the desired value (1 for point-to-point
connection) and press "ENTER".
You are offered the choice of transmission speed, which must be consistent with the setting of the 082925
board in the case of infrared connection (see related instructions). The settable range is 2400-115200 baud,
or it can be negotiable between the machine and the terminal (option valid only for cable connection). The
choice is made by scrolling through the various speed options with any button on the keypad and confirming
the desired value with "Enter".
Then set the option "enable telemetry". Value 1 = function enabled; Value 0 = function not enabled. Default
value = 0. ATTENTION the option can only be enabled if the telemetry device supports the sending of events
by the machine (in this case the machine acts as a master and initiates the DDCMP session)
It is then possible to enable (value set to 1) "erase interim data", i.e., the erasing of the resettable counters
after reading them and then you can enable the immediate erasure of the interim date or allow it to be reset
after the first purchase operation performed on the machine.
If the command is set DEX UCS, the machine communicates with the outside world with the DEX-UCS
protocol.
Command 91 Enter machine identification data:
The first datum to enter is the 8-figure machine serial number (numerical part only).
The second datum requested consists of a maximum of 30 alphanumerical characters: it refers to the
machine location: Refer to the table in command 95 for the insertion procedure. The third datum requested
is the machine numerical identification code (asset number).
All these data are then recorded in the Audit file for identifying the machine.
Command 92 Clear sales data:
The command is used to clear the machine's sales data (see command 10). A special access code must be
entered for this operation. The procedure is as follows:
Programming mode, ............................................................................ Command 0 appears on the display
Type 92 and press ENTER, ................................................................... Code 0000 appears on the display
Type 1221 and press ENTER, .......................................................'CLEAR DATA?' appears on the display
Press the ENTER key to clear all the sales data whereas press ESC to return to the main menus without
saving the changes.
Command 95 Setting the functions of the display (message Box Utente/slide show interno/slide
show USB):
Can not be activated simultaneously multiple functions.
