4SEAL TF
Thank you for choosing the 4Seal TF liner. This product provides thigh-amputated users with maximum adhesion
in the prosthesis shaft, and the Easy Glide Plus coating ensures a high level of comfort when putting it on or taking
it off. The 4Seal TF is equipped with 4 sealing lips. Össur TF liners have a unique combination of product features
that provide optimum protection of the soft tissue and a high degree of wearing comfort.
The use of the Össur Liner provides users with a substantial improvement in dealing with the prosthesis. When it
is worn, a Össur Liner has a decongesting effect: blood circulation in the residual limb is improved, making it
firmer. Any existing scars on the residual limb become softer and shallower over time. Due to the closed surface of
the silicone and the Easy Glide Plus coating, simple, hygienic cleaning is possible. Before using the Össur Liner
system, check whether the user is suitable for care with a silicone liner.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Making certain that the sealing lips are correctly and appropriately applied to the inner shaft surface is particularly
important for the fit and for ensuring that there is a vacuum in the shaft. Special attention should be paid to
selecting the size of the liner, to shaping the model in the area of the sealing lips, and to designing the inner
surface of the shaft.
