group as 4.003pH and 9.182pH, otherwise meter could not distinguish these two standard buffer
solution automatically which will cause inaccurate of calibration result or even cause the mistake of
calibration. In calibration mode, press 'SETUP' key beside 'Current STD Buffer Group' to set
current STD buffer group (please refer to chapter 'Setup pH STD Buffer Group' for details).
Calibration procedure is as follows:
a. Before calibration, please prepare 1 to 5 standard buffer solution (could be normal STD buffer
or STD buffer prepared by user himself), place the solution in constant temperature for certain
period.
b. Set STD buffer group according to the procedure stated before. If it is abnormal standard buffer
solution, please select manual distinguish method.
c. Clean pH measuring electrode, reference electrode and temperature sensor, and then put them in
measured standard buffer solution.
d. When display stable, press 'ENTER' key, meter displays 'Store STD Data...' and store the
calibration data.
e. Later, meter reminds user 'End Standardizing?' which is displayed as follows. If user has some
other standard buffer solution to be calibrated, please select 'CONTINUE' key and repeat
previous procedure to calibrate other solution till calibration finishes. During calibration, user
could press 'END' key anytime to finish the calibration.
Meter supports mostly 5 point calibration. When the fifth solution is calibrated and confirmed,
meter will finish calibration automatically.
For the standard buffer solution which pH ranges are duplicated, such as 6.864pH and 7.000pH
STD, we suggest calibrate as follows:
When user calibrate 6.864pH standard buffer solution, set STD buffer group to 6.864pH only and
then calibrate. When calibration of 6.864pH STD, STD buffer group again to 7.000pH only and
calibrate.
Use manual distinguish method to calibrate, i.e. each time when you calibrate standard buffer
solution, manually input pH value of current STD which is in correspondence to current
Display chart when a certain standard
