for details), when measuring starts, meter will automatically measure, calculate and display
measuring results. In case measuring is in accordance with set balance condition, the measuring
finishes! At this time, you can press 'STORE' key to store current measuring result. If it is
connected with TP-16 printer before turning on, meter will print current measuring data by pressing
'PRINT' key.
Press 'X' on top right corner and then press 'ENTER' to finish the measurement.
4.6.2.1 pX Electrode Calibration
Before each measurement, suggest re-calibrate the electrode. When calibration starts, previous
calibration data will be recovered. Electrode should be re-calibrated after a period of using.
Under pX measuring mode, press 'SETUP' key, select electrode calibration and then press
'ENTER' key. Or in 'View Measuring Parameter' unit, you can press 'STD' to calibrate electrode
slope also. Meter reminds 'Calibrate Electrode Slope?' press 'ENTER', meter enters into
calibration mode which is displayed as follows. On upper half of the screen is present measuring
data, meter displays present pX value (slope is set as 100.00%), potential value, temperature value
and STD value (pX value) in correspondence to present solution. At the bottom of the screen is
present STD result. On right side is 'ENTER', 'SETUP', and END' key.
Before calibration, please prepare 1 to 5 standard buffer solution (could be normal standard buffer
solution or standard buffer solution prepared by user himself), place the solution in constant
temperature for certain period.
a. Clean relevant ion select electrode, reference electrode and temperature sensor, and then put
them in measured standard buffer solution.
b. Press 'SETUP' key and input present STD value (pX value) in correspondence to present
standard solution.
c. When display stable, press 'ENTER', meter displays 'Store STD data...' and then store the
calibration data.
e. Later, meter reminds user 'End standardizing?' which is displayed as follows. If user has some
other standard buffer solution to be calibrated, please select 'CONTINUE' key and repeat
