4.6.2 pX Measuring
You can make pX measuring in correspondence to each ion mode. When you select relevant ion
mode, you can start pX measuring. For example, if you have sodium ion electrode and want to
measure sodium ion Na in solution, you need to select present ion mode as Na ion mode in 'Setup
Ion Mode' then to begin normal measuring. Please see 'Setup Ion Mode' for detailed operation
Under start mode, if you have pX measuring parameter, then press 'MEAS' key directly to start
measuring. Otherwise, press 'SETUP' key, select measuring mode and the select 'pX STD Data'.
(Please see 'Setup Measuring Mode' for details)
pX measuring mode
The displayed interface is the same as pH measuring mode. On top of the screen is current
measuring mode, system time, pX measuring result and corresponding potential and temperature
value. On right side of the screen is press buttons including 'VIEW', 'STD', 'STORE', 'PRINT'
and 'SETUP' key.
Press 'VIEW' key to view 'pX STD Data'. For details, please refer to 'View pX STD Data'
Press 'STD' KEY, you can re-calibrate pX electrode, please refer to 'pX electrode calibration' for
details.
During measuring, you can press 'SETUP' key to set manual temperature, mV displayed resolution,
pX displayed resolution and calibrate zero point potential.
If user selects continuous measuring mode (please refer to chapter 'Setup Measuring Mode' for
details), when measuring result stable, user could store current measuring result by pressing
'STORE' key. If it is connected with TP-16 printer before turning on, meter will print current
measuring data by pressing 'PRING' key.
If user selects 'Timed Reading' measuring mode (please refer to chapter 'Setup Measuring Mode'
for details), meter will automatically measure, calculate and display measuring result. When set
time interval reaches, meter will store measuring results automatically and start next measuring
after printing finishes.
If user selects 'Balance Reading' measuring mode (please refer to chapter 'Setup Measuring Mode'
