1.2 Warnings for reprocessing (cleaning – disinfection – lubrication – sterilization)

Sterilize and lubricate the contra-angle before first use and after every intervention on a patient.
•
Remove the rotary instruments (drills, burs, etc.) before cleaning.

Passing the contra-angle in a basin or an ultrasound system is banned.

Soaking the contra-angle in a detergent product provided to this effect must not exceed 15 minutes.
•
Only use a detergent-disinfectant product specifically intended to the pre-disinfection of dental handpieces and contra-angles

which is compatible with aluminium and does not contain soda based products or aldehyde. Do not use any alkaline detergents
or solutions (pH > 7).

Comply with the concentration recommended by the pre-disinfectant manufacturer.

Open the sterilization bag just before use.

Excessive use of maintenance products (lubricants, cleaning and disinfectant products) may induce the penetration of these
products into the inside of the electrical brush motor and affect its functioning. It is imperative to follow the maintenance

In case the contra-angle is not used for an extended period of time, clean and lubricate it in accordance with the instructions
hereafter and store it in a dry place.

II. ADVICE FOR USE
2.1 Use of the stop
Measure the distance between the tip of the instrument and the supporting face of the stop. Adjust this distance by screwing or
unscrewing the lower ring.
2.2 Use of the push-button
Insertion of the instrument ( 2.35 mm):
•
Make sure that the motor has been stopped.
•
Present the canal instrument in its lodging with a slight rotation until you find the flat.
•
Push the instrument to the end while pressing the push-button.
•
Release the push-button.
•
Make sure that the instrument is properly connected and firmly held.
Removal of the instrument:
•
Make sure that the motor has been stopped.
•
Press the push-button and pull the instrument.
•
Release the push-button.
