1. Adjusting the height of the needle bar
WARNING :
To protect against possible personal injury due to abrupt start of the machine� be sure to start the
following work after turning the power off and ascertaining that the motor is at rest.

) Turn the handwheel to brng the needle bar to the
lowest poston of ts stroke, and loosen setscrew 1 n
the needle bar clamp.
2) Set gauge for the heght of needle bar 2 suppled as
accessores to nstallng plane 3 of the throat plate
as shown in the figure, make bottom end 4 of the
needle bar come n contact wth plane A (secton A of
engraved marker) of gauge for the heght of needle bar
2 , and tghten setscrew 1 n the needle bar clamp.
