CAUSES

a) Switch off the pump voltage and secure against re-operation.
Unscrew fan wheel guard mesh
un motor on fan wheel
If necessary, separate motor and pump housing, check impeller for foreign bodies
and run motor on fan wheel
b) Tighten all connecting screws
c) Check fuses, replace faulty fuses
d) Call customer services.
a) Open the shut-off valve slowly.
b) Remove leakages in the flanges and air.
Vent the pump.
Replace mechanical seal if visibly leaking.
a) Check power supply
Check fan in converter (briefly run with mains "on") and free air intake.
Check fuse and cable/-connections.
Check operating point.
a) Check power supply,
Switch off pump,
Allow pump to cool down.
b) Press fault acknowledgement button
Free air intake
Check fan in converter (briefly run with mains "on").

Press fault acknowledgement button.
d) Call customer services.
e) Switch off pump.
Close blocking devices .
Allow pump to cool down.
Proceed as for 1.
Open blocking devices.
Press fault acknowledgement button.
Switch on pump.
f) Check operating point.
a) Increase admission pressure, observe minimum pressure at air intake.
Check gate and filter at inlet and if necessary clean.
b) Contact SALMSON customer services or a technician to check the pump and, if
necessary, submit for maintenance.
a) Check sensor cable and connections if necessary replace sensor.
b) Check sensor signal and adjust it.
