4 PROGRAMMING AND USE
When switching on, the monitor shows the "MAIN" screen (Fig. 7) normally used when working. Using the specific key (B, Fig. 1),
the menu screens can be displayed (Fig. 2, 3, 4, 5) for programming and use.
4.1 MAIN Menu
The MAIN menu is divided into 5 sections and displays the following functions (Fig. 7):
Section 1
1) Work speed
Section 2
2) Row shut-off situation (TRAMLINE)
Section 3
3) Fan drive rotation speed
Section 4
4) Current dosing display [Kg/Ha] or [seeds/m
5) Work motor display
Section 5
6) Motor ON/OFF: When required, it stops and restore
the distribution manually
7) Pre-start function: prepares the equipment at the
first distribution meters
8) It blocks the passage count automatic advancement
for the row shut-off
9) Passage calculation automatic advancement for the
row shut-off
10) Numerical index of the menu displayed
4.1.1 WORK SPEED AND RELATIVE ALARMS
The displayed work speed corresponds with the average calculated every 3 seconds.
The device has been designed to obtain a low and high work speed alarm:
with the equipment in work position and a work speed lower than 0.5 km/h, the
warning indicated in Figure 8 starts flashing and sounding from the MAIN screen;
with the equipment in work position and a work speed higher than the distribution
possibilities, the warning indicated in Figure 9 starts flashing and sounding from the
MAIN screen;
When setting a new dosing value, the device recalculates and displays in the RATE
screen the maximum work speed (Fig. 10) determined to obtain that set dosing value.
The calculation of the maximum seeding speed considers the amount of product to be
distributed, work width, calibration carried out and maximum rotation speed of the
seeding motor.
Note! Press the function key, in correspondence with the symbol (A, Fig.10), to return to the RATE screen.
