Connecting/Disconnecting the foot control
►
To connect the foot control to the control unit: Align the connector
plug for the foot control A and insert it into the control cable
socket 17 (back of the device) until in audibly engages, see Fig. 2.
►
To remove the foot control from the control unit: Press ratchet lever 18
and at the same time detach the connector plug for the foot control A,
see Fig. 2.

Coupling/uncoupling the elliptical shaft
Note
The elliptical shaft is sterile. Sterile separation is carried out on the ellipti-
cal shaft.
Damage to the device and elliptical shaft due to
improper handling!

Couple the elliptical shaft only while the motor
CAUTION
is inactive.
►
Insert the elliptical shaft into the elliptical shaft socket 14 until it
snaps into place.
►
To disconnect the elliptical shaft, pull backwards on the elliptical shaft
sleeve and at the same time pull the elliptical shaft out (see instruc-
tions for use for elliptical shaft).

Tube set (for GA835 only)
Note
The tube set is sterile. Sterile separation is carried out on the tube set.
Risk of injury to the user by crushing a finger in the
pump housing while the coolant pump is active!

Insert the tubing only with the coolant pump
WARNING
deactivated.
►
Close the pump housing.
►
Insert bottle holder 15 into the mount 16.
►
Insert the pump tube into the coolant pump 4:
– Rotate lever 6 clockwise towards the inlet symbol of the irrigation
bottle and engage in place.
– Insert the pump tube with the tube nipples into the recess, see Fig.
3.
– Rotate lever 6 counterclockwise towards the outlet to handpiece
symbol and engage in place.

Insert the punch in the coolant bottle; then hang the bottle on the bot-
tle holder 15.
►
Fix tube to the elliptical shaft according to the instructions for use of
the tube set.
