Choice of the trigger mode
This mode defines the way the welder use his torch trigger.
The cycles below describe the mode 2T and 4T during a simple welding cycle of 5 steps:
Description
The welder holds the trigger during the whole welding. Pressing the trigger will launch the welding (the beginning of the pregas), and releasing the
trigger will stop the welding (beginning of crater filling).
The welder can however shorten the crater filling by a short press on the trigger during this phase (if the corresponding option of configuration is
activated).
Option
Configuration > Installation > Cycle :
- Shorten down slope control
- Program call by trigger out of welding
