HORIZONTAL ADJUSTMENT OF
THE HEADLIGHT BEAM
NOTE
To check the direction of the
headlight beam, specific procedures
must be adopted, in accordance with the
regulations in force in the country where
the vehicle is used.
The headlight comprises two units:
√ right part of the headlight (1);
√ left part of the headlight (2).
Each unit is provided with a light beam
adjustment system.
Perform the adjustment on both units and
then make sure that:
√ the light beam is uniform;
√ there are no areas in shade.

To adjust the headlight beam:

Get on the vehicle in riding position, see
p. 46 (GETTING ON AND OFF THE
VEHICLE).
For the right part of the headlight (1):
◆
working on the rear right side of the front
part of the fairing, adjust the appropriate
screw (3) by means of a screwdriver.
BY SCREWING IT (clockwise) you move
the light beam righwards.
BY UNSCREWING IT (anticlockwise)
you move the light beam leftwards.
For the left part of the headlight (2):
◆
working on the rear left side of the front
part of the fairing, adjust the appropriate
screw (4) by means of a screwdriver.
BY SCREWING IT (clockwise) you move
the light beam leftwards.
BY UNSCREWING IT (anticlockwise)
you move the light beam rightwards.

After the adjustment:

Make sure that the vertical adjustment
of the headlight beam is correct.
