Basic recipe for sponge cake
Ingredients
250 g butter
250 g sugar
1 sachet of vanilla sugar
250 g flour
4 eggs
½ sachet baking powder
Preparation
Put butter, sugar and vanilla sugar in the mixing bowl 7 and stir with the
whisk 2 at level 3–4 until the mixture reaches a creamy texture.
Add the eggs one after the other and continue stirring until everything is
well mixed.
Add the flour and baking powder and mix until smooth.
Grease a rectangular cake tin (approx. 30 cm) and add the dough.
Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for approx. 50–60 min.
