Opening the packaging
Check that the packaging is intact when the slicer is delivered; if it is not, inform the shipper immediately.
To remove the slicer from its packaging, proceed as follows:
- Cut to remove the plastic straps.
- Open the box and take out the instruction booklet.
- Operate as described below.
- Remove the protections inside the box.
- Carefully lift the machine by placing it on a solid surface.
- Remove the transparent bag wrapping the slicer.
Check the presence and integrity of all components indicated in the transport document and in
this instruction booklet.
- If anomalies are found such as:
- dents to the structure or casings;
- non-working or broken controls;
- missing parts or other;
- Dispose of the packaging components (straps, cardboard, polystyrene, polyethylene bags, etc.) as
described below and in accordance with the regulations of the country of use.
III.DISPOSAL
- Place and remove the product to be sliced on the sliding overlay only with
the plate completely retracted (away from the blade) and carriage fully
towards the operator.
- Do not use arms or other elements that may cause entanglement and/or
dragging hazards.
-DO NOT use cutting accessories that have not been supplied by the slicer
manufacturer.
- Do not damage the blade by cutting hard parts (bones, etc.).
- If the dimensions of the food to be sliced are larger than those indicated
under "Useful cut" in the "Technical data" table, reduce the size to work
safely.
